Renaissance was founded based on real industry experiences

Renaissance Services was founded in late 2003 based on a few fundamental insights. These insights were gained through years of experience in the development and implementation of advanced systems for manufacturing organizations:

• Manufacturing companies can dramatically increase product development velocity and reduce quality escapes by improving “requirements flow”

• Effective requirements flow is essential to realization of lean and six sigma objectives—at any stage of product development

• There are a variety of new software tools that can greatly improve requirements flow within the supply chain

• Achieving improvement in requirements flow is as much a cultural process as it is a technical process — it depends on successful fusion of business processes, engineering content, and software tools
